Pricing and Insurance
How much does a therapy session cost?
Our fees vary according to level of training and experience, although we select all of our clinicians based on high quality training programs and excellent work experience history. Generally, fees will range from $75-$180. Pease contact us for each provider's specific fees.
Do you accept insurance for therapy sessions?
We have providers that are in network with OPTUM/United Health Care and private pay. We are out of network for all other networks but are happy to supply you with a Superbill (receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement if your benefits cover that. It is a good idea to inquire more with your insurance benefits coordinator to determine your eligibility. If you are choosing to pay through insurance, you are forfeiting some confidentiality and privacy in treatment. An agent of your insurance company or other third-party payer may be given information about the type(s), cost(s), date(s), and providers of any services or treatments you receive. If paying through insurance, the insurance company now dictates certain aspects of your treatment and you and your therapist will lose certain freedoms in choosing the best route for treatment. In order to utilize insurance benefits, treatment must be medically necessary, and a mental health diagnosis must be assigned that is entered into permanent record and submitted to the Medical Information Bureau. It will be your responsibility to verify benefits with your insurance company to ensure you are eligible to receive mental health benefits, as well as to obtain deductible, and co-pay information prior to your session.
We use a credit card processing service called IVY PAY that collects your payments through a text message link to your cell phone. It is a Hipaa Compliant, private and secure way of collecting payment that only requires you input your info one time and keeps your info encrypted reducing risk of theft and stolen information. Find more info here.. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, HSA, and flex plans as forms of payment. We also accept cash payments.
